Stéphane Couturier

With a background in architectural photography, he quickly moved away from the functional techniques of photography, aiming to reinterpret space by reconstructing and reinventing it. 

Always exploring, he proceeds to develop complex images which span realism, graphic design and poetry, often by superimposing two or more shots over each other or by reassembling fragments. He uses his knowledge of space and structure to make us reconsider our initial perceptions. He remains a realist, striving to include elements that enhance his images, and with meticulous attention to detail, chooses precisely the format of the works that will best reveal the essence of his vision when displayed.
