A new book dedicated to the historic photo collection of the Samaritaine.
A selection of 200 photographs ranging from 1900 to the 1930s, documenting the construction of the Samaritaine department store but also the life of "Samaritans" at that time, through sequences on the company restaurant, catalog sales , the daycare, the Sports Union... This fund was the subject of a review and inventory at the same time as the renovation and rehabilitation of Stores 2 & 4 of the Samaritaine, an analysis, restoration and preventive conservation, for five years. A big thanks to Editions Atelier EXB for this collaboration completing a trilogy dedicated to the photographic collections of La Samaritaine.
